HOTA Gallery celebrates Second Birthday with Free Entry

HOTA-Gallery-(exterior)-photo-by-Brett-BoardmanHOTA, Home of the Arts is marking a milestone of two years since opening the $60.5 million contemporary cultural precinct HOTA Gallery next month, with celebrations to include free entry to the world-exclusive Pop Masters: Art from the Mugrabi Collection, New York exhibition on Monday 8 May 2023.

Spanning six levels and including over 2,000m2 of AAA rated, international standard exhibition space and a dedicated Children’s Gallery, HOTA Gallery is the largest public gallery outside a capital city in Australia.

To celebrate the second birthday on Monday 8 May, and to thank locals for their support, HOTA are inviting the public to explore the latest exhibition – featuring 50 works from legendary contemporary artists including Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring.

And celebrations will continue over 15 days, with visitors able secure tickets to Pop Masters for just $15 from Saturday 29 April to Sunday 15 May.

Throughout the past two years, HOTA has seen more than 370,000 patrons visit the Gallery which hosted a variety of experiences including major exhibitions Solid Gold: Artists from Paradise, Lyrical Landscapes: The Art of William Robinson, Art Mixtape: Yours for Summer, Bricktionary: The Interactive LEGO® brick Exhibition, Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography Award 2022 and currently, Pop Masters: Art from the Mugrabi Collection, New York.
