The best, and often the funniest cabaret shows are created from moments of heartbreak and despair. Join Zalia Joi, Fiona Cooper and a live four-piece band as they perform toe-tapping anthemic original songs in the style of PINK, Adele, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac and Lady Gaga.

This edgy rock cabaret illustrates what happens when you are living your life and one day you wake up in the basement of Hell. An original show, born out of the need to find peace, Hell Hath No Fury weaves humour and heartbreak through passionate music and thought-provoking tales.

“With a flame of hope, and the need to find strength and grace, this cabaret is dedicated to never giving up,” said creator Zalia Joi.

“Whether it is the loss of a loved one or the betrayal of a loved one that takes you there, the Basement of Hell is the Basement of Hell and we all need inspiration to get out. This is a show created to inspire others to find their own light out of the darkness,” said Joi.

Featuring new original works from this Western Australian singer-songwriter, Hell Hath No Fury features Zalia’s debut single release Bomb Shock – produced by Eddie Parise (Baby Animals).

It is a song she describes as “channelled out of discovering a hidden truth and realising one’s life is changed forever. It’s the battle between peace and revenge and what happens when there is an event that devastates our life like Hiroshima, and the world we’ve been living in totally collapses,” said Joi.

The styles of the nine original songs in the show are rock, rap, reggae and a ballad in addition to an original underscore. This theatrical black comedy is about the battle between light and dark, harmony and retribution, and how to find grace in spite of the great seduction of revenge.

Written, performed and produced by Zalia Joi, Hell Hath No Fury – Musical Bitchin’ from the Basement of Hell features renowned actor/singer Fiona Cooper with stellar live music by Matt Milford (guitar), Shaun Davis (keys), James Vinciullo (bass) and Reilly Stewart (drums).
