What would you do differently to what you do now?
I would not travel and be separated from my family as much as work has required of me, other than that, absolutely nothing.

Who inspires you and why?
The Salvation Army because of their unconditional generosity and kindness. Asylum seekers and refugees, because they risk their lives in search of freedom rather than succumb to cruelty and persecution. They risk rejection and give up their homes and cultures rather than accept oppression and persecution.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
I try to offer at least one gesture of kindness and generosity to someone I know and someone I don’t know every day, and hope someone else will do the same.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
New York – it’s theatre, art and energy.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
In Melbourne, the Great Ocean Road – its where I spent my childhood summer vacations and it’s spectacular. In Sydney, the Harbour – it’s one of the world’s most beautiful.
