Dang & Duffy – a new event management and production company, today announced its launch, offering end-to-end event delivery grounded in precision, collaboration, and a highly personalised approach.
Founded by industry professionals Jennifer Dang and Alex Duffy, the company brings together extensive experience across live entertainment, delivering everything from intimate private events to large-scale productions.
Dang brings more than a decade of executive operations leadership across leading entertainment organisations, including Michael Cassel Group and TEG, and has seen first-hand the importance of trusted partnerships when a brand’s profile and reputation are on the line.
“When the stakes are high, you need the deepest trust in the team delivering your message,” said Dang.
Throughout her career, Dang has contributed to major projects including the Sydney Royal Easter Show, as well as Darren Criss’ 2023 Australian tour and Patti LuPone’s 2024 Australian tour.
Duffy has built his career across production management, technical direction and stage management, working on major theatre, events and live entertainment projects in Australia and internationally. He is known for delivering complex, high-profile productions where precision and execution are critical.
Duffy has played key roles on major productions including Harry Potter and the Cursed Child across Melbourne, Tokyo and Hamburg, with extensive experience in musical theatre, events and live broadcast, including the Helpmann Awards.
Duffy has also held senior production roles on A (Very) Musical Christmas as Production Manager, House of Dancing Water as Line Producer, and served as Associate Producer for Dubai New Year’s Eve 2026.
Dang and Duffy previously worked together on the former Prime Minister Julia Gillard’s Not Now, Not Ever speaking tour in 2022, during Dang’s tenure at Michael Cassel Group, where she managed Julia Gillard’s speaking engagements.
“Over the past several years in her senior position at Michael Cassel Group, Jen provided exceptional work and support to me and my staff to ensure that my events undertaken with MCG were well executed and successful. Jen worked with us at the highest professional calibre,” commented Julia Gillard
She congratulates Dang and Duffy and extends her best wishes for their future endeavours.
“We created Dang & Duffy to offer something clients don’t always get – a partner, not simply a vendor, who embeds into their team and takes the pressure off,” said Duffy. “Our approach is hands-on, considered, and designed to make the process clear, controlled and ultimately enjoyable.”
“Duffy and I have worked together for years across a wide range of projects, and what drives us is creating incredible experiences – not just for audiences, but for clients, artists and everyone involved,” said Dang. “We’ve built our careers behind the scenes – no spotlight required. That’s where we do our best work.”
With a focus on thoughtful execution and lasting impact, Dang & Duffy aims to set a new standard in event delivery, defined by trust, partnership and consistently high-quality outcomes.
