Dale Burridge, one of Australian’s leading men, and the original Raoul in the Australian Premiere Production of The Phantom of the Opera, stepped away from musical theatre stages for over 20 years.
Now he returns with a funny and moving exploration of the highs and lows of a life spent on, and off, the stage at His Majesty’s Theatre: 25 – 27 August 2022.
This deeply personal and intimate piece covers wild adventures, bullying, sexuality, ageism, depression, backstage stories and of course, COVID. Above all, it is a tale of survival, full of twists and turns.
Backed by piano and double bass, At the Crossroads features songs from many of the world’s best loved musicals including The Phantom of the Opera, The Sound of Music, Les Miserables, Anything Goes, Oklahoma, Dr Doolittle, Chess and more….
Dale will also present a Morning Melodies concert, Back on the Boards, at His Majesty’s Theatre on Wednesday 24 August 2022 at 11.00am.
