So Australia’s hardest working musical sports satirist uses his unique spin, along with songs, videos, sketches and caricatures to create a high energy and hilarious one man live show – Cricket The Musical,
The current season has been filled with it’s own melodramas, pushing the boundaries of The Spirit Of Cricket – with Bazball, the Wandering Bairstow, feral Lords, Mankads, the rain drawn Ashes, public player stoushes, moral victories and the first ever Timed Out.
Add to these the game’s history of treachery, villainy, facial hair, and illegal abrasives – you just couldn’t make this stuff up!
For almost two decades, Carnahan has been producing songs and parodies about the many colourful characters and controversies Australian Sport produces. They feature regularly on ABC Grandstand, and have previously featured on The Footy Show, Fox Sports, Triple M and many more. His songs about Stuart Broad’s sportsmanship, MCC selection policies, and Mitchell Johnson’s moustache and other sports have had millions of hits on YouTube.
