After dazzling audiences and critics alike last September, Club Vegas The Spectacle returns to Melbourne’s Athenaeum Theatre from Wednesday 29 May 2024.
Joining the production will be one of musical theatre’s most loved performers Rachael Beck who has headlined shows such as Beauty and the Beast, The Sound of Music, Singin’ in the Rain and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang to name a few. She most recently toured Australia as one of the Disney Princesses.
“I am totally delighted to be part of this spectacular show that highlights all the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas which once was the epicentre of the best talent in the USA,” said Rachael.
Joining Rachael will be Nine News entertainment reporter Allan Raskall. “I often sing, dance and act when preparing my entertainment reports for the evening news, so I am very excited to join the cast of Club Vegas, bringing all the glitz and glamour of sin city down under!” said Allan. “For so long I have engaged with the audience through a lens, so I’m really looking forward to engaging with audiences directly from the stage.”
They will share the stage with an awesome cast of 22 world-class Australian performers led by Club Vegas host/comedy funny man Gino Starr (played by James Liotta) who will share the glittering spotlight with dynamic singers, Jonathan Guthrie-Jones, J’aime Holland and Lissa Dawson – who will salute many famous icons who have graced Las Vegas showroom stages; plus breath-taking aerialists, international circus performers, stunning dancers, mind blowing staging and jaw-dropping props.
With a heart thumping high-octane electric fusion of 70s, 80s, 90s and current pop chart hits, the Club Vegas The Spectacle soundtrack promises to have you singing and dancing in your seat to the likes of Ricky Martin, David Guetta, Dua Lipa, BTS, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Barry Manilow, Earth Wind and Fire, Ed Sheeran, Wayne Newton, Shakira, Tina Turner and Donna Summer.
Club Vegas The Spectacle arrives back into Melbourne at the Athenaeum theatre from 29th May 2024 for 6 sizzling performances and is sure to dazzle audiences of all ages in a glittering, lavish, breath-taking, modern nod to the glamour and over-the-top glitz on the famous Las Vegas Glitter Strip. The creative team that brings all this together are Adam Bahoudian who is the artistic director and Nina Bahoudian who is a Helpmann Award nominated costume designer.
