AFCT Christmas PromsGet set to experience the magic of Christmas with this year’s Christmas Proms at the Adelaide Festival Centre from 18 December 2015.

Soak up the festive spirit and be transported to a time where wishes come true as two of Australia’s much loved performers Debora Krizak and Bobby Fox lead everyone in song with all your favourite Christmas carols. Timothy Sexton will once again conduct the sensational Adelaide Art Orchestra in this concert series with plenty of laughs along the way!

Originally from Adelaide, Debora Krizak has enjoyed a successful career on stage in Australia and overseas.  Her theatre credits include The Producers, Titanic – A New Musical, Respect, The Musical, Karaoke The Musical, Calendar Girls, Shanghai Lady Killer, Sondheim On Sondheim and Anything Goes.  Debora was nominated for numerous awards for her role of ‘Sheila’ in the 2012 Helpmann Award winning Musical A Chorus Line.

Earlier this year Debora toured the country in Hayes Theatre’s production of Sweet Charity earning her another Helpmann nomination. Debora has recently starred as one of Australia’s leading ladies in Jerry’s Girls for The Production Company in Melbourne.

Bobby Fox, originally from Ireland, was four times World Irish Dance Champion and toured with Irish productions such as Riverdance, Dancing on Dangerous Ground and To Dance on the Moon. Bobby moved to Australia in 2002 securing feature and starring roles in Mamma Mia, Leader of the Pack, Dusty, We Will Rock You, Spamalot, Hot Shoe Shuffle and The Production Company’s Sweet Charity and Damn Yankies.

Earlier this year he starred in Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers at Hayes Theatre Co. Bobby was hand picked by the man himself to play the role of Frankie Valli in the smash hit musical The Jersey Boys. Bobby’s acting credits include guest roles in House Husbands, Tricky Business, Mr & Mrs Murder and the feature film The Cup. Bobby released his album The Fantastic Mr Fox and duet with Miranda Kerr in 2014.

Prepare to be entertained with a few illusions to spark that bit of magic into the holiday season with none other than Santa Claus himself paying a visit.  Clowns Moose and Boppa will be joining in the fun with their crazy onstage antics! An event for all the family, grandparents, mums, dads and the kids will enjoy singing along to carols that will lift your spirits and have you humming all the way to Christmas.
