The Green Room Awards Association have announced the nominees for the 41st Annual Green Room Awards, set to take place on Monday 8 April 2024, at the Comedy Theatre, Melbourne.
The Green Room Awards Association looks forward to honouring the outstanding achievements of all nominees and the enduring impact they have on enriching Melbourne’s cultural landscape.
“This year’s awards celebrate a return to strength in our industry – our panels saw over 400 shows in 2023,” said Anton Berezin, President, Green Room Awards Association.
“As we gather to celebrate the Annual Green Room Awards, we recognise the invaluable contributions of artists who enrich our lives and communities through their creativity and vision.
“From bold experiments to timeless classics, this year’s nominees showcase the breadth and depth of talent within our dynamic arts community,” said Mr Berezin.
The 2024 awards will, for the first time, judge Commercial and Independent music theatre in separate categories. This evolution underscores the breadth of talent and creativity in Victoria’s thriving independent music theatre scene, and the crucial role Commercial productions play in our vibrant arts scene and tourism industry.
The awards ceremony promises to be an evening of celebration, with performances that highlight the year’s outstanding productions – these details will be announced closer to the date.
