Melbourne audiences will have the chance to hear the honey-voiced bass-baritone when he performs at Hamer Hall – Arts Centre Melbourne on Sunday 10 November 2019.

Accompanied by Orchestra Victoria, under the baton of Gareth Jones, Terfel will perform an assortment of his favourite pieces including both opera and musical repertoire featuring composers Bock, Rodgers, Wagner and Weill.

Across a career spanning nearly three decades, Sir Bryn Terfel has established himself as one of the world’s leading bass-baritones. His extraordinary career includes a wide range of performances at the world’s leading opera houses including The Met, New York; Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and Teatro alla Scala, Milan.

Terfel has also expanded his repertoire to musicals, taking on lead roles in Sweeney Todd and Fiddler on the Roof. Among his many accolades include four Grammy Awards, two Classic Brit Awards, a CBE for services to opera, the Queen’s Medal for music and a knighthood for his services to music.
