World-renowned star Jessica Pratt returns to Melbourne for a special one-night-only concert of spectacular highlights from the Bel Canto repertoire at St Kilda’s Palais Theatre on Saturday 2 September.
Jessica Pratt is widely considered one of today’s foremost interpreters of Bel Canto’s most challenging roles having adorned the stages of the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala and Staatsoper Hamburg. She is the winner of numerous international vocal competitions, including the Australian Singing Competition and the Vienna State Opera Award.
Pratt returns to the Melbourne stage for the first time since her sold-out 2019 Heroic Bel Canto concert with Victorian Opera, showcasing work exploring the heroes and heroines from the Bel Canto canon that will delight opera lovers and reveal a richly layered world of song for those new to the genre.
Pratt will be joined by beloved tenor Carlos E. Bárcenas and Alastair Cooper-Golec, and will be accompanied by Orchestra Victoria, under the baton of Richard Mills AM. Join Victoria Opera for what will be one of the most spectacular nights of the Melbourne musical calendar with Jessica Pratt.
