Presented by Bombshell Burlesque at Brisbane Powerhouse Theatre, Sweet Dreams was a saucy little, indeed, naughty little show which delighted its audience.
Raunchy routines and varied states of complex undress resulted in titillating displays of bosoms and bottoms: the beauty of Burlesque. The entire performance was nicely classy and all costume control was excellently executed.
An aerial dance routine performed upon a large crescent moon was especially enchantingly mesmerising. The costume worn and the posed positions attained were strikingly reminiscent of the glam of Jazz era New York. Postcard perfect, it was a real highlight and my favourite part of the evening.
The most dramatic act of the night was a wonderful fire dance which was boldly presented by a gorgeous girl striding about in bondage style gear. She breathed fire and was completely in control as she seemingly simultaneously struck and extinguished the flames she skillfully danced amongst.
A delightful show which is presented again tonight as part of the Wonderland Festival.
