The Sydney Fair Painted Toy Pedal CarSydneysiders are invited to take a stroll through the most stunning parts of history with an exclusive range of Antiques, Art Deco, 20th Century Art and Vintage pieces across interiors, jewellery, art and fashion at the largest Sydney Fair to date.

Now in it’s fifth year, enthusiast’s with a passion for browsing, buying, collecting and selling will gather to The Sydney Fair to interact with over 60 of Australia’s leading vintage, 20th Century and fine Art Dealers.

With a product price range to suit all budgets, attendees can expect affordable discoveries across Interiors, Fashion, Jewellery, Art, Lighting and Collectables. There’s no dusty garage sales pieces here – all pieces are authentic antiques – attracting investors, collectors and general public with an eye for the rarest finds on the market.

For the interior lovers there is a huge range of exhibitors offering distinctive furnishings from Antique to 20th Century to add whimsical character to home décor. The impressive range from Lauder and Howard is a ‘must see’, the collection specialising in the unusual and the rare from eighteenth to twentieth century, British & European furniture, glass, bronzes and porcelain to Virtanen-Antiques specialising in Swedish Art Deco.

“Minimalism is making way for interiors of a more opulent, layered home, mixing the modern with the vintage, the precious with the bargain and adding pattern, texture and splashes of saturated colour,” says event organiser Dianne Pickett. “You may walk away with a piece of history whose design and craftsmanship have withstood the test of time, improving its aesthetic character through its use. Antiques, Art and Vintage Couture are forever gorgeous investments.”

The fashionistas will marvel at exhibits of vintage couture evening gowns from the 1920’s, plus nab unique style and vintage pieces for as little as $100 all the way up to designer vintage handbags by Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Dior. Attendees will be in awe of divine stones from jewelers like Karen Deakin Antiques, Helen Badge or Elizabeth Kwan who will display high-end engagement rings and museum status jewels valued in the hundreds of thousands.

Saturday will feature fashion parades and a ‘best-dressed of the era’ competition, while Sunday will host live performance art filtered throughout the fair and a schedule of workshops from interior designers and antique experts. The Sydney Fair is a rare opportunity to appreciate past era’s rich in history and an iconic cultural event not to be missed.
