The convention will also premiere the 2023 Australian Quilt Show, offering visitors a chance to see quilts from around the country on exhibition.

Other highlight exhibitions include Miniature Art, Grand Designs by Japanese tutor Kumiko Frydl – an amazing collection of 30cm square quilts which are finely detailed replicas of full-size quilts.

There’ll also be a collection of quilts from the European Patchwork Meeting which is held in France annually – this is the first time quilts from the event have come to Australia.

QuiltCon is coming to AQC in an exclusive travelling exhibition! Featuring the cream of the modern crop is a selection of the best from the Modern Quilt Guild’s international event. Quilts by makers from the UK, USA, Canada, Spain, UAE and Australia are included!
