Andrew Henry’s Vertical Dreaming

Andrew Henry's Vertical Dreaming In 2017, after a lifetime of wearing a mask, Andrew Henry took it off. He checked himself into a facility to treat depression. His time there allowed him to let go of his programming: “Everything is ok. I’m fine. I can deal with this on my own.”

Admitting to his struggles with mental health has been the single greatest thing he has done, also, the most confronting. Ever since, he has listened to and read thousands of poems. He has also been brought immeasurable comfort by embracing music.

“This isn’t a play; these are the poems and songs that saved my life, in the company of some of my best friends rocking a live band, as theatre/cabaret,” says Henry. “I want to contribute to the eradication of the stigma attached to mental health by standing up and sharing this with you. And don’t worry. This will be fucking entertaining.”
