Ben Hart in a nutshell – AMAZING! Sometimes you think why should I see a magician when they will just do the same tricks all the other magicians do? Well you can’t say that about Ben Hart!
His bag of tricks will amaze you and have you scratching your head wondering like the little girl in the front audience at Tuesday night’s show “How did you do that?” Hart’s response was “The question is more like why did I do that?” showing us he has a great sense of humour as well!
As the title of the show suggests you will find magic with walnut shells and a bit of a gruesome history with the term “In a Nutshell” as well as some fun and surprising card tricks, he performs the worlds fastest magic trick – which of course I blinked and missed it but luckily he did it twice and caught a glimpse the second time round.
Hart is so engaging and his funny banter with the audience keeps the intrigue and mystique that you don’t want to miss a trick. If you’re a bit squeamish to blood, there’s a trick that might make you look away but like a car crash you can’t help but keep looking.
There’s also a confetti trick that is a must see, to tell you about it would spoil the surprise. So your only option is to go see it! Ben Hart is the one magic show you need to see at the Fringe.
