Driving TEG’s next era of innovation, these key appointments are central to a strategic reset led by Chief Executive Cameron Hoy to anchor TEG’s longstanding leadership across the region. The group is focused on delivering industry-leading ticketing solutions, powered by world-class technology, with premium live content curated by our promoters – spanning a broad spectrum of entertainment, including live music, theatre, comedy, and premier sporting events. TEG Promoter Team Changes:
TEG has announced a renewed leadership line-up to drive the group’s next phase of growth and execute on its sharpened Asia-Pacific touring focus:
- Paul Dainty AO assumes the new role of TEG’s President of Touring and Theatrical, while continuing in his role as CEO TEG Dainty. Recognised globally as one of the world’s most influential promoters, Paul brings over five decades of expertise and a history of producing colossal stadium successes, including record-breaking runs for Eminem, Katy Perry, Hugh Jackman, Phil Collins, Queen, Bon Jovi, and The Rolling Stones.
- Mark Dodds assumes the new role of Managing Director, TEG Live and Handsome Tours. Over 12 years as a managing partner of premier contemporary music promoter Handsome Tours, Mark has nurtured the rise of breakthrough acts in the territory, including Olivia Dean, Fred again.., Fontaines D.C., Phoebe Bridgers, and Beabadoobee. His expanded remit sees him assume leadership of the team at TEG Live, whose exciting suite of upcoming tours ranges from System Of A Down to Icehouse and Niall Horan.
- Danny Rogers and Jerome Borazio, the visionary founders of Laneway Festival and Laneway Presents, continue as an integral part of the TEG family. Laneway stands as the most revered contemporary festival in the Southern Hemisphere. Celebrated for its incredible programming instincts and ability to amplify local and global artists early in their careers, such as Billie Eilish, Tame Impala, Lorde, Olivia Dean, Fred again.., and Raye. The highly anticipated Laneway Festival 2027 lineup announcement is imminent.
Together Paul, Mark, Danny, and Jerome form an unmatched promoter combination. Spanning blockbuster stadium tours, international theatrical productions, elite talent discovery, and the region’s premier music festival, their combined expertise has shaped the regional touring landscape, nurturing local and global talent.
Promoter Leadership Transition & Handover:
As part of these changes, Tim McGregor will be leaving TEG to embark on his next chapter. Tim has had an extraordinary 20-year journey with Dainty Group and TEG, most recently serving as TEG Live’s Global Head of Touring. Tim leaves an impressive legacy, having built a best-in-class promoter division.
Tim is handing over leadership of TEG Live directly to Mark Dodds over the coming weeks. Mark will assume leadership of TEG Live while continuing to lead Handsome Tours, in parallel with TEG’s other flourishing promoter divisions led by Paul Dainty AO, Danny Rogers, and Jerome Borazio. Together, this forms an unmatched promoter combination across stadium touring, theatre, festivals, and talent development.

TEG Technology Appointment:
To drive this next phase of innovation and deliver world-first experiences for venue partners and fans, TEG has appointed John Ranieri as Chief Information Officer across the TEG Group. John brings over 20 years of digital and technology leadership, having held executive transformation roles at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), TAL Dai Ichi Life, and TOWER Group NZ.
Most recently serving as Head of Transformation and CTO (General Insurance) at CBA, he is a recognised thought leader in digital business transformation, data management, and the modernisation of core platforms. Under his leadership, TEG will maintain its relentless focus on first-to-market innovation, setting the global standard for ticketing and venue technology.
