World-class Irish music and dance taps into Queensland this August

A Taste of Ireland The Irish Music & Dance SensationDirect from Off-Broadway and London’s West End, the internationally acclaimed A Taste of Ireland Company brings its flagship production, A Taste of Ireland: The Irish Music & Dance Sensation, to Queensland this August.

The performances form part of the company’s regional Queensland tour, travelling from Cairns to Toowoomba via major centres along the Bruce Highway and beyond.

Performed by former World Irish Dance Champions, the production features stars from London’s West End, including alumni of Riverdance, Lord of the Dance and the company’s own hit production Éireann, alongside rising talent fresh from top placings at this year’s World Irish Dance Championships.

Emotional, immersive and unapologetically Irish, the production is a love letter to Ireland’s music, dance and storytelling, featuring favourites including Danny BoyTell Me Ma and The Wild Rover.

Presented with live singing, live music and world-class dance, A Taste of Ireland blends traditional Irish culture with contemporary staging and storytelling to create an exhilarating theatrical experience for audiences of all ages.

Currently touring Australia for a strictly limited season across 37 locations in six states, including two Caloundra performances for Sunshine Coast audiences to experience the international hit close to home.
