The Biennale of Sydney has appointed Adelle Robinson as Chair of the Board, succeeding Kate Mills, who has stepped down after twelve years of distinguished service on the Board of the Biennale of Sydney, 11 years as Chairman.
A proud Wiradjuri woman, Robinson is CEO of Fuzzy Operations and has over 30 years’ experience producing some of Australia’s largest and best-known festivals and events, including Field Day, Harbourlife, Parklife, Listen Out, the Bondi NYE event and the recent Crowded House concert on Bondi Beach.
Chair of the Sound NSW Advisory Board and a member of the NSW Government’s 24-Hour Economy Advisory Council, Robinson is also a founding member and current Chair of the Australian Festival Association. She has been a member of the NSW Music Festivals Regulatory Round Table since its inception and has given evidence at multiple parliamentary inquiries, advocating for the industry.
Robinson has served as a Board Director of the Biennale of Sydney since 2021 and served as Convenor of the Artistic Director Search Committee for the 2028 edition.

The Biennale of Sydney also welcomes Marina Olsen as a new member of the Board.
