On the Couch with Tyran Stig

Tyran Stig AAR On the CouchWho is Tyran Stig?
Depends who’s asking. But for the majority of the Australian public, just a figment of their imagination. And to that one uber driver in Bali who mistook me for my boyfriend’s dad, a 50 year old man.

What would you do differently from what you do now?
I’d stop pretending that watching The Real Housewives is character study for upcoming work.

Who inspires you and why?
People who are incredibly competent and never feel the need to talk about it.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Enforce a plebiscite for any two men who want to start a podcast to discuss their ideas about confidence and masculinity.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
Anywhere with sand, fruit, salt water to swim in, and no one asking: “So what do you have coming up?”

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
SEE ABOVE ANSWER!

What are you currently reading?
I’m currently reading The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt. It’s very good. It won the Pulitzer.

What are you currently listening to?
Apart from my knees cracking when I run, I do enjoy my girl Tay Tay.

Happiness is?
The other person cancelling plans you never wanted to do in the first place.

What does the future hold for you?
Being a mother to my sourdough starter, Pamela, and continuing my 10-year mission to figure out what “the cloud” actually is.
