The Choir of Hard Knocks is proud and excited to announce Dare to Dream – a special, inspirational concert to celebrate the choir’s birthday on Saturday 13 September in the Performance Space at Library at the Dock in Docklands.
This concert will feature inspirational songs, including recent additions to the choir’s repertoire and old favourites. The concert will be conducted by our fabulous co-artistic director Adam Przewlocki and Annie Stanford-Rossini.
Dare to Dream is designed to highlight the amazing, musical journey of the choir, as they enter their 20th year. The choir still meets weekly to rehearse and connect with each other. Craig, an original member, comments “it’s still a place for people to come along to sing and to be accepted.”
The choir performs regularly at concerts, conferences and everything in between. As an audience member recently wrote “the performance by the Choir of Hard Knocks was an emotional and powerful reminder of the resilience and strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity.”
The Choir of Hard Knocks will be joined by their friends, internationally acclaimed contralto, Liane Keegan and THECHO!R, led by Patrick Burns, who are long time collaborators and supporters of the Choir of Hard Knocks.
Our dream is for this concert to be a sell out success. Come along and be inspired. We would love your support!
