Sydney Theatre Company is delighted to announce Suzie Miller’s smash-hit play RBG: Of Many, One will return to the stage as part of a national tour including Riverside Parramatta, Arts Centre Melbourne, HOTA, Gold Coast and Sydney Opera House.
Heather Mitchell AM will revive her iconic performance as the indomitable Ruth Bader Ginsburg, which earned her a Sydney Theatre Award for Best Performer. A national tour in 2024 concluded with Mitchell having performed the role an incredible 187 times to over 100,000 people around the country since its triumphant premiere at STC in 2022.
Directed by Priscilla Jackman and written by Australian lawyer-turned-Olivier Award-winning playwright Suzie Miller, RBG: Of Many, One sheds light on the woman behind the public figure and charts the remarkable achievements throughout her life, aged 13 to 87 – from teenage years in New York to her historic Supreme Court nomination and fierce advocacy for reproductive rights while serving alongside Clinton, Obama and Trump.
