Minister for Creative Industries Colin Brooks has announced that All Her Fault will film at Docklands Studios and on location around the city, starring globally acclaimed Australian TV star Sarah Snook (Succession, Predestination) and directed by renowned Minkie Spiro (3 Body Problem, Downton Abbey).

“Victoria is an in-demand destination for screen productions of all genres and sizes and we’re proud to back this major series which will boost local screen jobs and businesses and inject more than $70 million to our economy,” said Minister for Creative Industries Colin Brooks.

All Her Fault is just one of the productions being filmed in Victoria this year – showcasing our incredible creative talent, highly skilled crews, unique locations and world-class screen infrastructure.”

Melbourne-based, Emmy and two-time Golden Globe winning actress Sarah Snook will star in the lead role and executive produce the series, which is adapted from the bestselling novel of the same name by Andrea Mara.

“I feel so excited about being able to work in Melbourne again. The industry we have here, across all departments of cast and crew, is world class,” said Sarah Snook.

“There’s always a can-do attitude, and I’m particularly impressed with the sustainability efforts our team on All Her Fault are making; showing we can lower our environmental impact without compromising on quality.”

All Her Fault will create more than 2,000 jobs for Victorian screen industry workers, including 510 crew and placements for emerging screen workers. The production will also support 435 local businesses and inject more than $70 million directly into the Victorian economy. Filming starts later this month.

All Her Fault opens with Marissa Irvine expecting to pick up her young son, Milo, from his first playdate with a boy at his new school. But the woman who answers the door isn’t a mother she recognises. She isn’t the nanny. She doesn’t have Milo. And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare.

Award-winning director Minkie Spiro will direct the first episode and executive produce. Joining Snook in the cast are Dakota Fanning (Ripley, The Equalizer 3), Jake Lacy (White Lotus), Abby Elliott (The Bear), Sophie Lillis (It) and Michael Peña (Unstoppable).

Megan Gallagher (Wolf) serves as writer, creator, and executive producer alongside executive producers Nigel Marchant, Gareth Neame and Joanna Strevens for Carnival Films (The Day of the Jackal, Downton Abbey), Jennifer Gabler Rawlings and Christine Sacani, producer Terry Gould and associate producer, Andrea Mara.

“It is an absolute honour to be directing All Her Fault starring Sarah Snook, in Melbourne with Carnival Films, and our on the ground team at Matchbox, alongside our studio partners at Universal International Studios. Melbourne is an incredibly film friendly city brimming with amazing locations and immensely talented crew,” said Minkie Spiro.

All Her Fault is produced by Carnival Films, which is part of Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group, and was attracted to Victoria through the Victorian Screen Incentive.
