Two Colour Collision – Adelaide Fringe Poster Competition

Adelaide Fringe Artwork 2013With only a month to go, Adelaide Fringe is calling on artists from around Australia to experiment with ideas and creative concepts and create a submission that could become the official poster for the 2014 festival.

The theme for the poster design competition is Two Colour Collision and artists from all backgrounds and disciplines are encouraged to create a colour collision that symbolises the middle ground where creators and spectators come together.

“Entries can be anything from digitally created, painted, drawn or photographic so it is something that appeals to a huge array of budding and established artists and designers around the country.”

“We are really open to people interpreting the theme anyway they want but they must use only two prominent colours.”

The winning entry will be incorporated into the official branding and marketing material for the 2014 Adelaide Fringe, exposing the lucky winner’s design to an audience of over 1.8 million.

The winner will receive $2000 and free artists registration if they would like to stage their own event or art exhibition in the 2014 Adelaide Fringe.

Entries must be received by 5pm Thursday 22 August 2013. A panel of experts will judge entries and the winner will be notified by Friday 27 September 2013. The official winner will be announced at the Fringe program launch on Friday 29 November.
