For one-night-only Green Room Award-winning songwriters Loclan Mackenzie-Spencer and Andrew Strano present a heartfelt and meaningful look at life, relationships, Hogwarts, incest and plant genitalia in The Songs Of Mackenzie-Spencer & Strano at Chapel Off Chapel on Monday 20 July 2015.
Directed by long time collaborator Casey Gould, this special evening will showcase the original songs of Loclan Mackenzie-Spencer (Associate Musical Director, Wicked) and Andrew Strano (nominated: Best Male Cabaret Performer 2014) in a celebration of the insane, brutal and (often) hilarious things we do when we’re in love, falling out of love and even realising our innate solitude.
The Songs Of Mackenzie-Spencer & Strano will feature some of Australia’s leading musical theatre performers including Fem Belling (Tracy; Hairspray original West End cast, Liza Minelli; The Boy From Oz, Mabel; Fame West End), Andrew Broadbent (Jersey Boys, Love Never Dies, South Pacific, Once, NED), Stefanie Jones (The Sound Of Music, Once, South Pacific), Rebecca Moore (Motherhood!: The Musical), Mike McLeish (Keating!, Miracle City) and Rob Tripolino (West Side Story, NED, La Cage Aux Folles, The Pirates of Penzance, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum ).
