He’s a pianist, composer and musical director; but now Steven Kreamer is moving out of the shadows and taking the stage front and (slightly left of) centre in his dazzling cabaret debut at the Hayes Theatre this April in I Sing Songs.
Unleashing his suite of original songs about love, life, and the world behind the piano as well as his favourite showstoppers and pop hits reimagined… I Sing Songs will make you laugh, cry and tap your feet.
Part Michael Buble, part Tim Minchin with just a touch of Broadway, Steven is an “astonishing emerging talent” – Stage Whispers. Warning: may include traces of accordions and kicklines.
Having become a staple in the Sydney musical theatre scene, Steven has been seen and/or heard in She Loves Me, Assassins, Little Shop of Horrors, Rent, Side Show (Hayes Theatre Co), The Drowsy Chaperone (Squabbalogic) and Nosferatutu (Griffin Theatre Company).
Steven has been a pianist for Paloma Faith, Kate Cebrano, Michael Falzon, Martin Crewes and Trevor Ashley among many others.
