Just in time for the festive season, Silvie Paladino – one of Australia’s most talented musical performers, has released her first full-length Christmas album O Holy Night, featuring The Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Choir and The Melbourne Staff Band.

“I truly adore Christmas time! I just love spending time with my beautiful friends and family and sharing in the spirit of Christmas,” said Silvie. “O Holy Night is a collection of some of my favourite songs that I have performed during the Christmas season for over twenty years and want to share with everyone.”
O Holy Night features 12 tracks including O Come All Ye Faithful, Song of Joy, O Holy Night, Away in a Manger, Bethlehem Morning, Hark the Herald, Mary Did You Know, Silent Night, When a Child is Born, and Angels We Have Heard On High. The CD also features 2 duets – The First Noel with Silvie’s long-time friend, Kane Alexander, and Hear The Bells with Imogen Spendlove – who is making her recording debut.
Silvie’s connection with The Salvation Army’s Melbourne Staff Band has extended over many years of working together in different capacities, including the annual Our Christmas Gift concert.
