On the Couch with Trisha Noble

Trisha Noble Arts Review On the CouchWho is Trisha Noble?
She is somewhat of a homebody when not performing in a show. She loves art and animals and the lakes and beaches in her local area.

What would you do differently to what you do now?
When I was a youngster and because of my love of animals, I was interested in being a vet. However, I left school at 14 having gained my Intermediate Certificate and joined my parents in a touring variety show, as lead singer and dancer, and that was that!

Who inspires you and why?
My late parents, comedian and recording artist Buster Noble and my mother Helen de Paul OAM – Producer and ballet teacher. I am still inspired by them, because of the solid values they taught me and for how well they prepared me for a career in show business.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Kindness, more kindness.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
Lord Howe Island, because it’s Aussie and it’s awesome!

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
Drinks overlooking a local beach and then home for a BBQ on my patio.

What are you currently reading?
A relaxing thriller by James Patterson.

What are you currently listening to?
Best Smooth Jazz from the UK.

Happiness is?
Happiness is many things for me. One of the activities which gives me much happiness is spending time with those I love.

What does the future hold for you?
Right now, more touring with Ladies in Black! We perform next in Melbourne and then onto Canberra.

Trisha features as Miss Jacobs and Mrs Crown in the upcoming season of Ladies in Black at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre from 25 February, before heading to the Canberra Theatre Centre from 27 March 2017. For more information, visit: www.ladiesinblack.com.au for details.
