What would you do differently from what you do now?
Absolutley nothing. I am happy with the way I am executing and the way I have executed my plans. I wrote my life plan at a 21 day vipassana silent retreat when I was 25 years old and it has pretty much unfolded just as I wrote it. Hence I tell everyone, ‘write only the things you want to manifest.’ It was one of the most amazing things I have ever done in my life and inspired me to open and run my own retreats at Yera Health Retreat. Which leads me into…

Who inspires you and why?
Humanity inspires me. The human needs and wants. What do we all want? What do we all need? Every time I script anything or play a character or direct a particular character I always come back to, ‘what does this character want/need?’ Human wants and needs fascinate me. The study of the human psyche fascinates me on a physical 3D level of wants/needs. But my exciting challenge and mission is to delve deeper to the 5D level and see exactly why they need/want this –  this really inspires me. It inspires me to learn more about humanity.

I find this phenomenon of human want/need inspiring in my every day life with family, patients and colleagues. We are all teachers and we are all teaching each other something. Ultimately my family and friends are my true inspiration with their words of encouragement, advice, genuine love, praise and HONESTY – and boy are they honest lol. I thank God, Lord Jesus, the universe, everyday that I am blessed with such amazing tribes. My family, my friends – and my film family whom all encourage and inspire me to do my utmost best, to be present, to be amazing, to be unique – and to deliver in all that I do.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
I love what I have done already – and have so much more to do to ADD and to make a difference in this wonderful world –  with my simple mantra which I meditated on each day during my 21 day vipassana silent retreat – ‘don’t wait – create!’ Creation is amazing. We all need to create – and then create again and again and again! And not stop creating. I created educational plays which toured to over 400 secondary colleges to help students with teen issues including drug and alcohol abuse, body image issues, anorexia, bulimia, depression and anxiety.

I created a health retreat – Yera Health Retreat – for people to rest, revive retreat and detox and heal. This wonderful creation has helped many people and in turn helped me with my budgets for my creative projects to make my film FATE, TV series NEXT… and feature film DAD.

I created scripts and played amazing character’s to awaken people. I write/create and play character’s to make people ponder, smile, laugh and cry. I still have so much to do by continuing to share my knowledge, wisdom and awaken many more people to health and well being. Also playing an integral part in reducing long term medications use and implementing more of my natural therapies techniques in peoples lives – to heal and feel amazing without medications.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
I love, love, love, Los Angeles in November for business, work and play. I love doing a run through WeHo, into Los Feliz and into the Hollywood Hills up to Griffith Observatory – and stopping to find peace and tranquility up in the hills leaving the fun, busy, chaos below. I love the hustle and bustle of West Hollywood and stopping to see a theatre show or some stand up comedy. I love the stroll along Santa Monica beach and I quite like a swim and sunbathe at my favorite beach – Manhattan Beach.

I also particualy love Malibu and the drive through Malibu Canyon toward Calabasas, stopping in at the Malibu Hindu temple for a meditation and doing the walk through Malibu Creek State Park. Then of course, I love the business and chaos of the American Film Market. Going from meeting to meeting, sitting in on the wonderful lectures about film, writing and distribution and the networking with so many creative souls. I find it a perfect balance of busy, exciting chaos as well as quiet, peaceful tranquility.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
I have a few favorite places. Werribee Mansion is a favorite, followed by the Werribee Zoo. St Kilda is another fave as it is always fun with the beach, cafes, restaurants, bars and shopping. Then of course straight on the Nepean Highway and along the coast to the Mornington Peninsula for a piece of Victoria’s stunning landscape. The seaside coastal towns of Rye, Sorrento and Portsea are wonderful. But at the top of my list of attractions is the picturesque landscapes and seascapes of the backbeaches of Rye, Blairgowrie and Sorrento. They are healing, electrifying and serene all in one.

What are you currently reading?
Currently I am re-reading The Answer – which is a great book for motivation and inspiration. I find it a great reminder on your journey to lead you to more manifestation.

What are you currently listening to?
Currently, right now, I am loving the sounds of a mix between Roxette, SIA and Dua Lipa. Strong powerful women voices inspire me.

Happiness is?
Being comfortable in your own skin. Being happy with all that you are, all that you have achieved to date and being happy with your hopes, dreams, desires and aspirations ahead. I believe true happiness is when you have no need to compare yourself or your life with anyone else. Most of all, being at ‘peace with your pace.’ What’s the rush, what’s the hurry? We all get to the destination that is slated for us. If it’s meant for you, IT’S YOURS! Your pace is unique and your journey is one of a kind. When you truly believe this, you will be happy. You are unique and one of a kind.

When we see ourselves this way we reach not only true happiness but self enlightenment. A state of happy that no-one or no situation can take it away from you. Don’t let anyone or anything postpone your happiness. Happiness should be instilled within you. Buddhism states nothing is permanent. I state, ‘Self enlightenment means happiness is permanent – forever!’ Then and only then will a lot more wonderful things come to you – the wonderful group of friends and work colleagues, job opportunities, love, abundance. You are always most attractive and abundant  when you are at ease with YOU, HAPPY and have nothing to hide. I often get people saying, ‘your life is an open book. My response – ‘well best you read it then!’

What does the future hold for you?
I am so excited. I am excited even when there is nothing to be excited about-because that is so exciting. Turning the fear of the unknown to the excitement of the potential. I think 2021/2022 will be a lot of fun for me with a lot on, creating of course. First and foremost the future holds a wonderful holiday to Spain and doing the El Camino Trail, which I was meant to do March 2020 – but… C19! It will be a thirty day pilgrimage titled ‘the walk of the soul,’ and filming my wondrous journey to an inspirational doco-film.

I am excited to be writing my next romantic novel, Meet me by the old bridge. It’s been a great project during Covid-19 lockdown – running to the old bridge, a few selfies, back home (10km a day and within 5km radius – lol) and straight to writing for a couple of hours. I am excited to finish writing my next self help book, Go Away A! – which will help all sufferers of anxiety with my easy to follow steps and tricks to beating this crippling disease. I see so many suffering from this in clinic and at my retreats, and I do hope this book will bring some ease to many.

I am super excited with playing some amazing roles. I am playing steamy Adam in the webseries, BLACK SHEEP. I am playing Ro in Eternal Heart – the inspirational story about my mother, who died tragically when I was 10. I am Playing Miffy/Mike in the Feature film, of my novel, In love with Love – Not him! I am Playing Brian in the Suspense Drama, Feature film, Dichotomy. I am also very excited to be playing Dr. Andrew Nelson in the TV series, PA, and Brett in the crazy sit-com, Me, You & Dad.

The future always holds so much amazing exciting wondrous things so long as we are happy, unique and comfortable with YOU – and remember – ‘…write your intentions exactly as you want it – so you manifest it!’ Happy manifesting all you actors, filmmakers and creatives and I hope you enjoy my words.
