Who is Mitch Ralston?
I am a generation Y caucasian relatively homosexual cisgender intersectional feminist Music Theatre actor, and my role models include Lisa Simpson, Hermione Granger, my mum, most MacRob girls and Beyoncé. I woke up like this.
What would you do differently to what you do now?
I would move to a tropical island somewhere and live out my days doing all the things I love.
Who inspires you and why?
My friend Elsa is an incredible inspiration to me. She is my moral compass, a passionate, curious, thoughtful human with so much life and will to change the world.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
I will write or help develop theatre and television and film that is more diverse in culture, gender and sexuality.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
New York for the cheap incredible theatre, and Fiji for a classic beach holiday.
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take then to, and why?
Probably the Queen Victoria Market – there’s something for everyone there, especially the night markets.
What are you currently reading?
Ten Days in a Mad-House by Nellie Bly
What are you currently listening to?
Demons by Sleigh Bells
Following my instincts.
What does the future hold for you?
Working, travelling around Africa and Europe, and moving home with the family.
