Mia is a passionate dancer, a creative person and a loving family member and friend.

What would you do differently from what you do now?
I would try and let go of control and be kinder to myself on this journey.

Who inspires you and why?
The people I work with and people who embrace their uniqueness inspire me. I am inspired by people who have overcome hardships and roadblocks.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
I would do the little things that make a big difference in our world, environmentally and socially. I would create a better environment around me, and better connections. I would spread more love in the world.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
This is a difficult one. Either Hawaii, because it is a slice of heaven, or Cuba because my partner is Cuban.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
I love antiques, so I always take my friends up to Paddington to the Antique Centre, or to Camp Hill. There are so many great places where you can step into a different world and get lost in all the amazing relics.

What are you currently reading?
Spark Joy by Marie Kondo for the second time. I clearly didn’t spark enough joy the first time.

What are you currently listening to?
I have been listening to a lot of Julia Jacklin lately, and I always have Paul Simon on repeat.

Happiness is?
Giving and feeling love.

What does the future hold for you?
I try to not think too much about what the future holds, because I want to be focused on the present. But there is an element of excitement when I think of the future, and all the possibilities available, you never know what the future holds!
