On the Couch with Lawrence Mooney

Lawrence MooneyWho is Lawrence Mooney?
He’s one of the most fearless and hilarious comedians in Australia.  He’s also the host of Dirty Laundry Live.

What would you do differently to what you do now?
Nothing at the moment, but hey I’m having a good day.

Who inspires you and why?
Paul Keating.  Vision, passion, style and he really couldn’t care what people thought of him.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Tax massive personal and company wealth savagely.  And make severe laws for corruption.  I suppose you wanted a funny response? Ok, legalise nudity – the world would immediately be more peaceful.  You can’t war down on a nudie.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
Italy, they are the most relaxed people in the world.  I love Italians.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take then to, and why?
Probably the European,  it’s just perfection.

What are you currently reading?
The Last Man, a ten volume comic book series from Vertigo by Brian K Vaughan, Pia Guerra and Jose Marzan Jnr.

What are you currently listening to?
Myself.  The recorded show from Adelaide Fringe so I can polish it and forget it.  That and Tame Impala in the car.

Happiness is?
Doing nothing and just being at home with time on your hands.

What does the future hold for you?
It looks good but it is illusory.
