People who I work with and people who can do it all.

Live and let live people!

Favourite holiday destination and why?
It used to be Australia, but now I’ll say Croatia.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take then to, and why?
We’ll take a boat trip to the Opera House and drink champagne.

What are you currently reading?
Nothing… I don’t have time with a 7 month old!

What are you currently listening to?
Anything current and also show tunes for auditions.

Happiness is?
My son, Bay.

What does the future hold for you?
Doing what I love, while being surrounded by the people I love.

Jayde Westaby trained at Bird College of Performing Arts in London, and her credits include playing the role of Judy Haynes in White Christmas, Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show (UK Tour), Mona and covering Velma Kelly in Chicago (London West End), Mary Delgado in Jersey Boys (London West End), Rosie in Sweet Charity (Menier Chocolate Factory), and Anita on the 50th Anniversary tour of West Side Story.

She has also appeared as Rizzo in Grease (West End), Stephanie Mangano on the UK and Asian tour of Saturday Night Fever, Ali in Mamma Mia! (international tour), the original London cast of Thoroughly Modern Millie (London West End) and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (UK Tour).

Jayde worked in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2012 Olympics in London. Recently, she worked on the new American series Galavant, and is currently appearing as Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show at Sydney’s Lyric Theatre. For more information, visit: www.rockyhorror.com.au for details.
