What would you do differently to what you do now?
Apart from wanting to be a pilot or vet when I was at school, I honestly can’t imagine doing anything else than acting! I used to have a corporate job in London until 4 years ago when I decided to give it up to pursue acting.
Who inspires you and why?
I watched a lot of movies in the 80s/90s and loved Tom Hanks, Steve Martin, Dustin Hoffman, Leonardo Di Caprio and Jim Carey. Movies were different then – please don’t judge me! Now though, it’s a different story; Al Pacino, Robert De Niro. Gary Oldman, Sean Penn, Michael Fassbender. I love Hans Zimmer soundtracks and am infatuated with Quentin Tarantino and Steve McQueen directed films.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Have a word with our politicians! Wouldn’t it be great if some had more common sense – so much could be achieved with this beautiful country!
Favourite holiday destination and why?
Malaysia for the food, Laos/Cambodia for the people and Fiji for the beaches. I’m originally from Denmark and you can’t beat a snowy Christmas festive season there either.
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
Anywhere by the sea in the Eastern Suburbs and up the coast. Blue mountains, the National Park. We’re spoilt for choice!
What are you currently reading?
Apart from repeatedly reading the script of the current production Duck Hunting that opens this week, I read a lot of plays. For time off, I’m reading The Wolf Of Wall Street.
What are you currently listening to?
A mix of classical when working and house music to relax and travel to.
Precious time with family, my beautiful girlfriend, acting, sun, beach, traveling.
What does the future hold for you?
Hopefully a successful career in acting. I’ll continue to work as hard as I can to create as many opportunities for myself but ultimately it’s when preparation meets opportunity. I’ve just had my Australian citizenship accepted so who knows!
