Who is Belinda Davids?
I’m a very simple girl who comes from very humble beginnings who has a very intense passion for music.
What would you do differently to what you do now?
I would be a doctor. By heart I love helping people. Almost to a fault. Almost to an annoying point.
Who inspires you and why?
Hard working people. People who work hard for what they love to do. I work hard but i don’t think i work hard enough.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
I would find a way to stop poverty and find a cure for AIDs. I would also like to create a very simple, easy and cheap way to provide clean water.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
Crete, it’s a Greek island. There is so much ancient history. The energy is very calm. And so much sunshine. The older I get the more I’m appreciating sunshine.
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
Table Mountain, or Hermanus because it’s a wine estate!
What are you currently reading?
Terry Goodkind’s First Wizard series.
What are you currently listening to?
Diana Krall. It’s very calming. After being away for so long I need to relax.
Happiness is?
Peace and quiet with my children.
What does the future hold for you?
At first I didn’t think too much will happen (career wise) because of my age… but I feel like my life has only just started and so has my career. In the future, I want to create my own music.
