Nailed it!

Nailed ItPhrase!
1. Used to express pride after achieving something seemingly difficult with relative ease!
2. Used to express sarcastic pride in something that’s a bit awful.

The debut revue of Music Theatre composers Mackenzie-Spencer & Strano, Nailed it! is an hour of original songs about life, love and when you are (or really aren’t) nailing it.

Directed by Casey Gould, Nailed It! features original music by pianist, composer, arranger, and conductor Loclan Mackenzie-Spencer (Winner: Betty Amsden Award for Orchestral Composition, Associate Musical Director: Wicked), with lyrics by cabaret performer and comedian Andrew Strano (The Bad Boys of Music Theatre, The Improv Conspiracy, VCA music theatre, winner: S+S cabaret best writing) – they are joint Melbourne winners of the 10th Annual Australian Cabaret Showcase.

While on an inspiring trip to New York City in 2013, Loclan & Andrew worked with Broadway composer/lyricists Andrew Gerle and Jeff Blumenkrantz. Nailed It! was their way of making sure they created enough original material to work with when they return to New York this winter to further develop their craft.
