Limbo Unhinged

Limbo fire - photo by Tony VirgoWildly daring and a flawless production, Limbo Unhinged limits do not exist as the show takes the audience on a journey through a sexy, yet whimsical world of playful behaviour and a boundary pushing circus production. This year, Limbo has brought to the table a brand new show, showcasing even more talent and unbelievable abilities.

Expectations were high this year, as Limbo has had a successful runs of winning awards in previous years, setting the bar even higher for those who had seen the show before.

With sequins that lit up the room and gorgeous costumes galore, it’s certainly difficult to fault the perfectly executed performance, as it is inclusive of all sorts of genres of entertainment. Hints of comedy put smiles on the audience’s faces, and small amounts of crowd interaction was enough to capture the attention of everyone in the room for the entire duration of the show.

Standouts included performers who balanced on tall bendy poles with incredible movement, strong vocals from each singer and shockingly brilliant aerials that wowed the those seated in the audience. Credit also goes to the two performers who executed humorous yet a brilliant act of a cross between pole dancing and pole work.

Every element of the show catered for every taste palette of the audience, as archery, fire and dancing were also included throughout. Careful thought was evident in the flawless running of the show. Limbo Unhinged is a must see for those who are looking for performance that touches upon every aspect that is the Adelaide Fringe.
