Directed by the award-winning Elizabeth Millington, Esther Hick is “Vibrationally” Speaking! features Claire Pearson (actor and producer) and Kyle Walmsley (RAW National finalist, 2012) and is a satirical send up of the original Law of Attraction gurus, Esther and Jerry Hicks.

Elizabeth Millington is a Russian born director, writer and designer. Before arriving in Australia, Elizabeth worked at the Moscow National Theatre Institute, The Moscow School of the Modern Play and trained at the Moscow Conservatorium and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

In Australia, Elizabeth has created award-winning works for Metro Arts, Brisbane Festival, La Boîte Theatre Company, the Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Federation Square, The Poppyseed Festival, Next Wave, La Mama and Melbourne Fringe.

Elizabeth was a participant of the inaugural Women Directors’ Program at the Melbourne Theatre Company, the 2017 Directors Lab presented by Melbourne Festival and directed the Matilda Award Nominated Umami Mermaids for Brisbane Festival. She teaches for NIDA and specialises in visual and immersive theatre, black comedy and puppetry.

Claire Pearson is a Melbourne based actor, writer, producer and workshop facilitator with over ten years experience across theatre and film. She wrote and produced the comedic sell out seasons of Mona Brow Williams presents (Anywhere Theatre Festival) and Battlefield Blues (Melbourne Fringe Festival). She has also been part of Brisbane Festival and Adelaide Fringe Festival.

Claire was shortlisted twice for the Queensland Theatre Company’s Young Playwright’s award and won the Best Female Actor at the Warner Roadshow Queensland New Filmmaker awards. Claire has been in many short films and Australian features. Her most recent short film From Bella to Chanel: A day in the life of Kristen Stewart.

Claire recently performed in Titus Andronicus for the VCA, starred in short film Milquetoast and was part of the most recent County Court of Victoria educational videos.

Kyle Walmsley is a performer, MC and theatre maker having worked with companies around Australia including Queensland Arts Council/ArtsLink, Darwin Community Arts, Brown’s Mart Theatre, Corrugated Iron Youth Arts, Darwin Festival, Polyglot, The Flying Fruit Fly Circus, and HotHouse Theatre.

Kyle has trained in acting at the University of Southern Queensland and with French Clown Master Teacher Philippe Gaulier. Kyle was a national finalist in ABC’s Triple J RAW StandUp Comedy Competition and state finalist in Green Faces Comedy Competition.
