David Simes is a 25 year old actor singer from the central coast who has made an impression in children’s theatre and theatre in the last couple of years. Currently one half of Giggle and Hoot on ABC TV, last year he won great reviews in the play Flood at the Old 505 Theatre and toured for a year around Australia with Brainstorm Theatre. Most recently David has been touring with singing group The Vallies.

David has wanted to take on the world of cabaret for some time and this is his first full show. Leading strongly with the traditions set by some of the great jazz and swing performers, his show features some classic music theatre standards and some songs from the hottest new Broadway Tony award winning musical hit Dear Evan Hansen.

David is joined on this journey with one of Australia’s leading musical directors, the amazing Andrew Worboys – fresh from his success with Little Shop of Horrors, Cabaret, Assassins, High Fidelity and the recent tour with Belinda Wollaston. David and Andrew make quite a dynamic duo, not to be missed.
