Piers Lane Chopin by CandlelightAustralian audiences will be treated to a unique opportunity to hear from one of the world’s greats, when Piers Lane performs Chopin by Candlelight – a beautiful selection of works by the much-loved composer on tour during May and June this year.

One of Australia’s most internationally acclaimed pianists, and artistic director of both the Australian Festival of Chamber Music and the Sydney International Piano Competition, Lane has performed in the world’s great concert halls, attracting remarkable reviews for his brilliant and sensitive performances.

In Chopin by Candlelight, Lane will enthrall audiences with a breathtaking selection of music from the much-loved Romantic composer, performed in the beautiful glow of candlelight. The concert will feature a variety of works, including: Fantasie in F minor Op 49; Etude in E major Op 10 No 3 (Tristesse); Barcarole Op 60; and Polonaise in F sharp minor Op 44.
