CHAPTER ONE: Live author events to keep you entertained and enlightened at home

Dymocks Chapter OneDymocks understands that sharing stories is a powerful way to stay connected, especially during challenging times. That’s why they have launched Chapter One – a new program bringing free live author events three nights a week, direct to your home.

Chapter One provides a wonderful opportunity to connect communities and provides vital support to local authors who have had to cancel their book tours and events. It gives readers an opportunity to hear from international authors they might not usually get access to. It might even help you discover a new favourite author!

Now in its fourth week, the response has been overwhelmingly positive from authors and readers, with fans tuning in from as far as India, Croatia and Brazil to hear their favourite authors speak about their new books. There’s a great line-up of international and Australian authors in the coming months, to talk about their latest books and answer your questions.

This week, Dymocks are excited to present Maggie O’Farrell, author of Hamnet (Friday 1 May); Hilde Hinton’s unforgettable story of loneliness, isolation and finding your way, The Loudness of Unsaid Things (Monday 4 May); and Sophie Hardcastle discussing her highly anticipated debut novel, Below Deck (Wednesday 6 May).
