Adelaide Fringe: The Glory Box

The Glory BoxCaught the late show (10:30 pm) on Sunday at the Paradiso Spiegeltent and was totally blown away by this high energy hybrid of Burlesque-Cabaret-Circus-Disco. Non-stop action and entertainment with Moira Finucane and an international stellar line up of singers and dancers.

Jaw-dropping, eye-popping, balloon busting shenanigans kept the audience hootin’ and hollerin’ for more! more!! more!!! Packed full of provocative grotesquerie, parody and mockery this turbo-charged, high octane cult hit is an absolute stand-out Fringe event.

The highlight for me was the gorgeous Diva Sarah Ward. With a big, bold, beautiful, soulful voice Ms Ward lifts the show and blasts it into the stratosphere! She should come with a warning – Dangerous Curves Ahead.

This eclectic mix of genre-busting, subversive exotica works brilliantly – probably because each performer is a world class act on their own. When you pack this many stars into one show you really do get a GLORY BOX of entertainment!
