Adelaide Fringe: Kosher Bacon

AF Michael Shafar Kosher BaconWhen it comes to religious jokes some may shudder away, but not Michael Shafar, in his new stand up show Kosher Bacon. This show is not for the politically correct or those easily offended by religion. A no holds barred take on his Jewish heritage makes for a show with lots of laughs!

Mixed with the topics of marriage, love, family, Jewish traditions and well yes the penis gets a mention too, Michael charms his way around the audience to dodge the bullets of offence. He knows how to make an offensive topic so funny you forget it’s a taboo subject. Like when he talks about Isis and terrorists – silence overcome the room – by the end of the sentence you find yourself laughing out loud.

The audience laughed their way throughout the show even when Michael was dropping his Hitler jokes. A bit ironic considering he was playing at The German Club. So if you want raw and frank comedy with a little bit of bacon then go see Kosher Bacon!
