A Case of You: The Music of Joni Mitchell

A Case of You: The Music of Joni MitchellDirect from their appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as part of the #madeinadelaide campaign, A Case of You: The Music of Joni Mitchell plays at The Butterfly Club until Sunday 2 October 2016.

Joni Mitchell is one of the most inspiring singer songwriters of her generation. With songs such as Big Yellow Taxi, Both Sides Now and A Case of You, Joni’s raw, honest and emotive lyrics truly reach right to the heart of the listener.

A contemporary interpretation of the songs that made Joni an icon of the 70s, A Case of You: The Music of Joni Mitchell aims to introduce her music to a new generation of listeners whilst still retaining the essence of Joni’s distinct sound.

Carefully crafted by singer/pianist, Deborah Brennan, this show is an intimate narrative borne out of her passion for the songs that have influenced her, and so many others, along this road we call life. Deborah is backed by Max Garcia-Underwood and Chris Neale – a two-piece duo of exceptional quality.

After debuting to a sell out season at the 2016 Adelaide Fringe Festival and direct from appearances at the Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Caught & Spark Productions brings Case of You: The Music of Joni Mitchell for its premiere season at the Melbourne Fringe Festival – and see why she is considered one of the best songwriters of all time.
